Graduation Photography
In 1974 Wally Kempe pioneered the field of graduation photography
and began
providing commencement photographic services in the states
of Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Utah, primarily
focusing on high school and university ceremonies. Gradphoto.com has grown and broadened service
to over 250
universities, colleges, and high school commencements
reaching nearly 70,000 graduates a year and over a
million in our corporate history.
In
addition to graduations, our services also include
school formals and theme dances, school events, sorority
and fraternity activities, and special fundraising
events. Our other markets include business and
corporate customers, with a portfolio of over 60 companies for whom we routinely provide
professional photographers, shooting either formal
portraits or providing candid photography services.
We
maintain a staff of 60+ photographers available year
round and we have all the necessary in-house equipment
including professional Nikon digital cameras, studio
lighting, and advanced graduate identification software,
to provide your school with the most complete graduation
service available anywhere.
The 2003 season reached another pioneering milestone by
offering the advantages of digital photography to all
the schools we service. We are one of the few
commencement companies in the United States who could
offer this service that way. Digital Imagery allows us
to identify graduates, send out order forms and print
pictures more accurately and with a greatly reduced turn
around time. It also allows us to upload pictures to our
proprietary website for viewing and ordering for
graduates and their families from anywhere in the world.
