Accessing Your Proofs

How do I find my photograph once the graduation event is available for viewing?

You can access the photographs by first visiting the website and entering the password provided by the photographer. Some events may require a PIN number which will be provided by the photographer after the event. This PIN number is typically provided by email or regular mail one to three weeks following your event. Once you find your photos, click on an image to place an order.

How else can I find my photo?

Additionally, many events can be found by entering a portion of the name of the event or the date of the event. If you are still unable to find your event or photos online, please contact your photographer or event coordinator. You can also request your password here or register to receive proofs here.

What if I lose the event code/password?

The best way to get this is to check with the event planner at your organization or you can request your password here.

How long will it take for my event to appear on-line?

Events typically appear online within the 3 business days following an event. If you have not found your event online, please check back in a day or so or register to be notified when your pictures become available here.

Can other people see my pictures?

People who have the event code/password will be able to see the pictures. Since the event codes will be passed out at the event, anyone who attends your event will be able to see your pictures. If you are using a PIN number to access your photos, that PIN number has been provided only to the graduate shown. If you would like us to inform friends and family of the availability of your pictures, please submit their email addresses here.

Can I have my picture removed from the Web?

Yes. Please end us an email or give us a call. Our contact information is here.

I tried adding photographs to my cart, but haven’t had any success. What’s going wrong?

Image Processing and Customer Service

Will the photo I receive have similar quality to the one I see in the proof on the screen or in my mailer?

The proofs you see online and in the mail order forms are lower quality and resolution than the actual images from which enlargements are printed. This technology allows visitors to the web site to view images which load up quickly, even over slow Internet connections, while still allowing our customers to receive top-quality prints.

How will the photograph be cropped for enlargements?

As photographs are enlarged, the height/width ratio changes, so the print you receive may require cropping from the pictures’ edges. Each image will be carefully inspected and is usually cropped from the bottom so that no portion of a graduate’s head or mortar board are lost. Please see here for examples.

What type of process is used to print the photos?

All images are printed professionally on the highest-quality Kodak paper by our lab, Candid Color Systems in Oklahoma City, OK.

Is my credit card safe to submit online? Is your website secure?

When our registration/order form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as a credit card number), that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry - SSL.

How do I obtain permission to use photos for editorial or advertising purposes?

All images are copyright protected. If you would like a copyright release please call our office directly @ 800.211.0434.

Can I make copies of my prints or the images online?

Gradphoto.com has authorized the use of photographs on this site and own the copyrights of the photographs. Administrators

Will you slow down the commencement?

No. We will be positioned discreetly on or near the stage only while diplomas are being presented. During the presentation, we will be positioned as unobtrusively as possible to avoid any interference with the ceremony. Most people never notice that we are there.

What about your equipment?

Our professional digital equipment and strobes are all handheld. Our flash units are small, producing only enough light to illuminate the student and dignitary being photographed. The audience and the dignitaries awarding the diplomas rarely notice the flash.

What if more than one graduate at a time receives a diploma?

We will have a photographer for each line. Years of experience at a variety of graduations has given us the ability to adapt to any setting. We cater to your specific needs.
